- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and calibration.
- Prepare and analyze patient samples, following established protocols and procedures.
- Monitor and track quality control measures to ensure accuracy and precision of test results.
- Communicate with healthcare providers and patients to provide test results and answer any questions or concerns.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all tests and procedures performed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during testing.
- Stay up-to-date on new technologies and techniques in laboratory science to continuously improve processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure proper patient care and treatment.
- Train and mentor new staff members on laboratory procedures and protocols.

Bachelor's Degree In Medical Technology Or A Related Field
Strong Knowledge Of Laboratory Procedures And Instrumentation
Ascp Certification As A Medical Technologist Or Equivalent
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Clinical Laboratory Setting
