Job Description

LabCorp is looking for a Medical Technologist to join our team and help us provide quality healthcare services. As a Medical Technologist, you will be a vital part of our team, ensuring that our laboratory processes are accurate and efficient. You should have a passion for patient care and a commitment to the highest standards of medical technology.The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field, with at least two years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting. Additionally, you should have knowledge of laboratory practices and regulations, as well as the ability to effectively use laboratory information systems. You should also have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks. If you have a strong work ethic and a desire to make a difference in patient care, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities of a Medical Technologist:

  1. Ensure laboratory processes are accurate and efficient.
  2. Follow all laboratory practices and regulations.
  3. Effectively use laboratory information systems.
  4. Maintain patient confidentiality.
  5. Analyze results and provide feedback to healthcare professionals.
  6. Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
  7. Perform quality control measures and troubleshoot any malfunctions.
  8. Participate in continuing education and training.
  9. Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and other laboratory personnel.
  10. Maintain a high level of professionalism and patient care.
