
Medical Affairs Hematopathologist
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Medical Affairs Hematopathologist to join the LabCorp team. In this role, you will be integral in driving the strategic direction of the laboratory, providing technical and medical expertise to the organization. As a Medical Affairs Hematopathologist, you will be responsible for medical review, interpretation, and reporting of hematopathology cases.The ideal candidate for this position will possess a MD or PhD in pathology, board certification/eligibility in hematopathology, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a hematopathology laboratory. A successful Medical Affairs Hematopathologist should have a comprehensive understanding of hematopathology, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to interact with clients and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner. Responsibilities:
- Provide medical review, interpretation, and reporting of hematopathology cases.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with external clients and colleagues.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the laboratory.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations and protocols.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and provide technical and medical guidance to colleagues.
- Maintain and update technical knowledge and skills in hematopathology.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance and control protocols.
- Provide educational and training opportunities to staff.
