  1. Develop and implement utilization management strategies to optimize laboratory resources and reduce unnecessary costs.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in laboratory processes and procedures.
  3. Conduct data analysis and utilize performance metrics to identify trends and areas of opportunity for process improvement.
  4. Evaluate current laboratory protocols and make recommendations for streamlining and standardizing processes.
  5. Train laboratory staff on best practices and new processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  6. Monitor and track laboratory utilization metrics to ensure compliance with established guidelines and identify areas for improvement.
  7. Lead process improvement projects and initiatives to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in laboratory science to inform process improvement efforts.
  9. Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and reliability of laboratory services.
  10. Collaborate with management to develop and implement policies and procedures related to laboratory utilization and process improvement.
  11. Communicate with healthcare partners and clients regarding utilization management strategies and process improvement initiatives.
  12. Identify and address any barriers or challenges to successful utilization management and process improvement.
  13. Continuously evaluate and refine utilization management and process improvement strategies to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
  14. Participate in meetings and training sessions to keep up-to-date with changes in laboratory operations and best practices.
  15. Serve as a resource and mentor to other laboratory staff regarding utilization management and process improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Healthcare Administration, Clinical Laboratory Science, Or Quality Improvement.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Laboratory Utilization Management And/Or Process Improvement In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Laboratory Testing Processes And Procedures, Including Understanding Of Laboratory Regulations And Accreditation Standards.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify Areas For Improvement And Develop Effective Solutions.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Departments And Stakeholders To Implement Process Improvements And Drive Change.
