Lab Supervisor - Blood Bank

We are looking for a motivated, highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Lab Supervisor for our Blood Bank at LabCorp. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about providing quality lab services and operations. As a Lab Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the Blood Bank at LabCorp.The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field, along with 5+ years of relevant experience working in a lab. You must have a thorough understanding of the principles of laboratory safety, quality control and assurance. You should be a strong leader with a commitment to providing excellent customer service and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities: • Manage daily operations of the Blood Bank at LabCorp • Ensure compliance with lab safety, quality control and assurance standards • Provide excellent customer service • Develop and motivate staff to ensure quality and efficient operations • Monitor and review work performance of staff • Maintain accurate records and documentation for the Blood Bank • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or problems that arise • Develop and implement new processes and procedures to improve the efficiency of the Blood Bank • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all laboratory tests • Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality service • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
