
Lab Assistant - Hematology

- Perform laboratory tests and procedures on blood samples, including but not limited to complete blood counts, coagulation studies, and blood smear analysis.
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring proper function and accuracy.
- Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and timely results.
- Adhere to laboratory safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Record and report test results accurately and in a timely manner.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues with equipment or test results.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to coordinate sample processing and results reporting.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills related to hematology and laboratory procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all tests performed.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper sample collection and handling.
- Assist in the training and supervision of new laboratory assistants.
- Participate in research and development projects to improve laboratory processes and procedures.

Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or Related Field
Certification As A Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) Or Medical Laboratory Technician (Mlt)
Previous Experience Working In A Hematology Laboratory Setting
