  1. Prepare and process laboratory samples according to established protocols and procedures.
  2. Maintain accurate and organized records of sample information and test results.
  3. Enter data into laboratory information management systems with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  4. Assist with the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure proper functioning and accuracy.
  5. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  6. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during sample preparation or testing processes.
  8. Continuously learn and stay updated on laboratory techniques, procedures, and regulations.
  9. Collaborate with other lab assistants and scientists to improve processes and procedures.
  10. Identify and report any quality control issues or deviations in test results.
  11. Participate in proficiency testing and adhere to all regulatory requirements.
  12. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including confidentiality and data privacy.
  14. Stay organized and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  15. Attend training and meetings as required to maintain proficiency and stay updated on company policies and procedures.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned by laboratory management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field (E.g. Biology, Chemistry, Or Medical Laboratory Science)

  • Previous Experience Working In A Laboratory Setting, Preferably In A Clinical Or Medical Laboratory

  • Strong Understanding Of Laboratory Procedures And Safety Protocols

  • Attention To Detail And Ability To Accurately Record And Report Data

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Independently And Follow Instructions Closely.
