Responsibilities:

1. Perform cytological tests in a timely manner to ensure quality patient care.

3. Utilize microscopes, automated equipment, and other laboratory instruments to collect data for test results.
4. Maintain accurate records of specimens and results.
5. Consult with physicians, pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper diagnosis and treatment.
6. Work independently and in a team setting to meet department goals.
7. Keep up to date with advances in cytology and other laboratory tests.
8. Adhere to all laboratory safety and procedural guidelines.
9. Communicate effectively with laboratory personnel and other healthcare professionals.
10. Identify and troubleshoot problems with laboratory equipment and procedures.
