We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Cytotechnologist to join our team at LabCorp. This position requires a passion for laboratory sciences and a commitment to providing exceptional service.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science or related field and/or equivalent training and experience. They must possess a valid certification from a recognized certification agency or be eligible to sit for certification examinations. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.We are looking for a Cytotechnologist who is eager to provide exceptional care to our patients and to be a part of a team that is dedicated to excellence. Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and update cytology records and case files.
  2. Prepare specimens for microscopic examination.
  3. Perform microscopic examinations of specimens.
  4. Prepare slides for review by pathologists.
  5. Utilize appropriate quality assurance procedures to ensure accuracy of results.
  6. Maintain a safe and clean laboratory environment.
  7. Adhere to all professional, state, and federal regulations.
  8. Maintain certification by attending continuing education courses.
  9. Communicate findings to pathologists or other healthcare professionals as necessary.
  10. Abide by laboratory protocols and regulations.
