Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or A Related Field, With A Focus On Microbiology.
Certification As A Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) From A Recognized Accrediting Agency, Such As The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp) Or The National Credentialing Agency For Laboratory Personnel (Nca).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Laboratory Experience, Preferably In A Microbiology Setting.
Proficiency In Performing Laboratory Tests And Procedures, Including Microscopy, Culturing, And Identification Of Microorganisms.
Strong Understanding Of Laboratory Safety Protocols And Ability To Maintain Accurate Records And Documentation.
