Clinical Laboratory Technologist

LabCorp is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our team and help serve our patients. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented professional with a strong technical background to perform laboratory testing and methodologies in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field and a minimum of one year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting. Working knowledge of laboratory methods and instrumentation is essential. Our ideal candidate will be a team player who is comfortable working independently and is able to multi-task in a highly organized manner. Responsibilities:

1. Perform laboratory testing and methodologies as assigned to ensure accuracy and timeliness of results.
2. Utilize laboratory instrumentation and equipment to complete testing.
3. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
4. Monitor and review test results for accuracy and take corrective action when necessary.
5. Maintain accurate records of laboratory testing and results.
6. Provide excellent customer service to clients and other members of the team.
7. Troubleshoot any laboratory issues that arise and take appropriate action.
8. Assist with training and onboarding of new laboratory staff.
9. Remain up-to-date with current laboratory trends and techniques.
10. Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency of laboratory operations.
