As a Clinical Lab Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our clinical laboratory, ensuring accurate and timely testing of patient specimens.   1. Oversee daily operations of the clinical laboratory, including scheduling, workflow management, and ensuring all testing is performed accurately and efficiently.
  2. Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and compliance with safety protocols.
  3. Hire, train, and supervise laboratory staff, providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure a high-performing team.
  4. Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and precision of test results.
  5. Monitor and analyze test results, identifying any trends or issues that may impact patient care.
  6. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate delivery of test results.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry standards, regulations, and advancements in laboratory technology and incorporate them into laboratory practices.
  8. Manage laboratory inventory and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage.
  9. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication.
  10. Uphold company standards and policies, including confidentiality and patient privacy.
  11. Participate in performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
  12. Act as a point of contact for any escalated issues or concerns from staff or patients.
  13. Represent the company and maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions with patients, clients, and colleagues.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and cost-efficiency without compromising quality of care.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Laboratory Setting.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Medical Technology Or Related Field.

  • Certification As A Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) Or Medical Technologist (Mt) Through A Nationally Recognized Accrediting Agency.

  • Strong Leadership And Management Skills, With Previous Experience In Supervising A Team.

  • Knowledge Of Laboratory Regulations And Quality Control Standards, Including Clia And Cap Guidelines.
