Job Description

L’Occitane En Provence is currently looking for a Retail Analyst to join our team and help drive success in our retail operations. The ideal candidate for this role will have exceptional analytical skills, a customer-centric mindset, and a passion for analytics. This person should be a self-starter, have strong problem-solving skills, and be comfortable working with data. The Retail Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to help in the decision-making process. If you have a keen eye for detail and a drive to learn, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you! Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics• 2+ years of experience in retail analytics or a similar role• Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis software (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerBI)• Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

  1. Collect, analyze, and interpret data for making strategic decisions.
  2. Monitor and report on retail performance metrics.
  3. Develop reports and dashboards to measure key performance indicators.
  4. Utilize data to identify trends and suggest improvements to retail operations.
  5. Create and implement a data-driven strategy for driving sales.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
  8. Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  9. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends.
  10. Proactively identify areas of improvement.
