Collection Manager

Kotak Mahindra Bank seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Collection Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be a key member of our Collections Team and will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable and collections process. The Collection Manager must possess strong organizational and communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, as well as at least three years of experience in a collections-related role. The Collection Manager should be an independent worker who is comfortable working with minimal supervision. A strong background in customer service and financial analysis is preferred, and the successful candidate must be able to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner. This position requires strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to providing timely and accurate reports. The successful candidate will be a dedicated and hardworking individual who is committed to meeting deadlines and driving results.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the accounts receivable and collections process.
2. Provide excellent customer service.
3. Effectively communicate with customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
4. Monitor and review customer accounts and provide timely and accurate reports.
5. Make collection calls and follow up on delinquent accounts.
6. Develop policies and procedures to improve the overall collection process and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
7. Research and resolve customer inquiries and disputes in a timely manner.
8. Maintain accurate records and ensure accuracy of all financial data and reports.
9. Participate in performance reviews and other collection projects as needed.
10. Remain current on industry trends and best practices in collections.
