- Oversee and support daily operations within the store, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
- Lead and motivate a team of store support associates, ensuring they are properly trained and following company policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, resolving any issues or concerns, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Monitor and maintain store cleanliness and organization, including restocking and replenishing merchandise and supplies.
- Collaborate with other store leaders to ensure efficient and effective communication and teamwork.
- Assist with scheduling and staffing to meet business needs and ensure adequate coverage.
- Train and coach team members on customer service, operational tasks, and company initiatives.
- Identify and address any operational or customer service issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Assist in creating and implementing strategies to improve store performance and achieve sales goals.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and company initiatives to effectively communicate with customers and team members.

- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, escalating to higher management when necessary.
- Assist in the hiring and onboarding process for new store support associates.

Strong Leadership Skills: A Store Support Lead At Kohl's Must Possess Strong Leadership Abilities In Order To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team Of Store Support Associates.
Retail Experience: Candidates For This Role Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role. This Experience Will Help Them Understand And Anticipate The Needs Of Customers And Support Associates.
Excellent Communication Skills: The Store Support Lead Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Various Team Members And Departments Within The Store. Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential For Success In This Role.
Problem-Solving Abilities: In A Fast-Paced Retail Environment, Unexpected Challenges Can Arise. The Store Support Lead Should Be Able To Think Quickly And Creatively To Solve Problems And Keep The Store Running Smoothly.
Organizational Skills: With Multiple Tasks And Responsibilities, The Store Support Lead Must Be Highly Organized And Able To Prioritize Effectively. This Includes Managing Schedules, Delegating Tasks, And Ensuring All Store Support Functions Are Running Efficiently.
