  1. Greet and welcome customers to the store with a friendly and positive attitude.
  2. Assist customers in finding products and providing them with excellent customer service.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized store environment to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for customers.
  4. Ensure all merchandise is properly displayed and stocked according to company standards.
  5. Execute visual merchandising guidelines and ensure that seasonal displays are updated.
  6. Monitor inventory levels and communicate any discrepancies to management.
  7. Collaborate with team members to ensure all store merchandise is accurately priced and tagged.
  8. Stay up-to-date with current fashion trends and assist in creating attractive displays to showcase new products.
  9. Provide feedback to management on customer needs, preferences, and concerns.
  10. Assist in receiving and processing new merchandise shipments.
  11. Follow safety and security procedures to prevent theft and maintain a safe working environment.
  12. Proactively seek out opportunities to improve store appearance and customer satisfaction.
  13. Actively participate in training and development opportunities to improve knowledge of products and company policies.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, dress code, attendance, and punctuality.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail: A Successful Store Merchandising Associate At Kohl's Must Be Able To Effectively Plan And Execute Visual Displays, Ensuring That All Products Are Properly Stocked And Presented In An Appealing Manner.

  • Previous Retail Experience: This Position Requires Previous Experience In A Retail Environment, Preferably In Visual Merchandising Or Store Operations. Familiarity With Kohl's Products And Brand Is Also Preferred.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: As A Representative Of The Store, A Store Merchandising Associate Must Have Exceptional Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Assist Customers And Address Any Concerns Or Inquiries.

  • Knowledge Of Retail Trends And Industry Standards: A Strong Understanding Of Current Retail Trends And Visual Merchandising Techniques Is Essential For This Role. The Ideal Candidate Should Also Be Knowledgeable About Kohl's Competitors And Their Merchandising Strategies.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: The Retail Industry Is Fast-Paced And Constantly Changing, And A Store Merchandising Associate Must Be Able To Adapt Quickly To New Tasks And Priorities. This Role Also Involves Physical Work, Such As Lifting And Moving Merchandise, So Physical Stamina Is Important.
