- Maintain organization and cleanliness of stockroom area to ensure efficient and safe operation.
- Receive and process incoming merchandise, accurately recording inventory and ensuring proper placement on sales floor.
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist in restocking and replenishing merchandise on the sales floor.
- Ensure all merchandise is properly tagged and labeled for easy identification and retrieval.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily and weekly goals for merchandise processing and stocking.
- Assist in the implementation of new merchandising strategies and store layouts.
- Communicate with sales associates and management to identify and prioritize merchandise needs.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move merchandise.
- Adhere to safety procedures and protocols while handling merchandise and operating equipment.
- Keep accurate records of merchandise movement and assist in inventory management.
- Identify and report any damaged or defective merchandise to management.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with customers and team members.
- Assist in other areas of the store as needed, including assisting customers and cashiering.
- Continuously strive to improve efficiency and productivity in stockroom operations.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and loss prevention.
Previous Experience In Retail Or Stockroom Operations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Stockroom Or Inventory-Related Role. This Will Demonstrate Their Knowledge Of Stockroom Operations And Ability To Handle Inventory Management Tasks.
Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills: A Stockroom Operations Associate Is Responsible For Maintaining An Organized And Efficient Stockroom, Which Requires Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Skills. The Candidate Should Be Able To Multitask And Prioritize Tasks Effectively.
