- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient stockroom by consistently restocking merchandise, organizing inventory, and keeping track of stock levels.
- Receive and process incoming shipments, including sorting, unpacking, and labeling merchandise.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to accurately track stock levels and report any discrepancies to management.
- Assist in the execution of promotional and markdown strategies by ensuring all merchandise is properly labeled and displayed.
- Provide excellent customer service by promptly retrieving items from the stockroom for customers and assisting with any stock-related inquiries.
- Work closely with the sales floor team to ensure timely replenishment of merchandise and maintain an adequate level of stock on the sales floor.
- Follow all safety and security procedures to protect merchandise and maintain a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with management and fellow associates to ensure a smooth flow of stockroom operations.
- Proactively identify and report any maintenance or repair needs for the stockroom equipment and fixtures.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve stockroom processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail: Stockroom Operations Associates At Kohl's Must Be Able To Efficiently Manage And Organize Inventory To Ensure Accurate Stock Levels And Timely Replenishment.
Knowledge Of Retail Operations And Inventory Management Systems: A Solid Understanding Of Retail Operations And Experience Working With Inventory Management Systems Is Essential For This Role.
Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects: This Job Requires Physical Labor, Including Lifting And Moving Heavy Boxes And Merchandise, So Candidates Should Be Able To Meet The Physical Demands Of The Job.
