- Monitor and analyze data related to customer traffic, sales trends, and employee performance to make accurate staffing predictions.
- Collaborate with various departments within the company to gather data and insights on workforce trends and needs.
- Develop and implement workforce management strategies and initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Create and maintain accurate and detailed staffing schedules for all store locations.
- Monitor and track employee attendance and performance to identify and address any issues or concerns.
- Communicate regularly with store managers and other team members to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments to staffing plans.

- Train and mentor junior analysts on forecasting techniques and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to workforce management.
- Collaborate with external vendors and partners to gather and analyze data for forecasting purposes.
- Proactively identify and address any potential staffing issues or challenges.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and make data-driven decisions to improve overall workforce management processes.
- Continuously evaluate and improve forecasting models and methods to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Strong Analytical Skills: A Senior Forecasting Analyst At Kohl's Should Possess Advanced Analytical Skills, Including The Ability To Analyze And Interpret Large Amounts Of Data To Make Accurate Workforce Forecasts.
Experience With Workforce Management Software: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Working With Workforce Management Software, Such As Kronos Or Workday, To Forecast Labor Needs And Schedule Employees.
Excellent Communication Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Workforce Management Team, The Individual Should Have Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Forecasting Insights To Senior Leadership.
Leadership Experience: This Role May Require Leading A Team Of Forecasting Analysts, So Previous Experience In A Leadership Or Supervisory Role Is Preferred.
Retail Industry Knowledge: A Senior Forecasting Analyst At Kohl's Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Retail Industry, Including Industry Trends, Consumer Behavior, And The Impact Of External Factors On Demand Forecasting. Previous Experience In A Retail Environment Is Highly Desirable.
