  1. Provide exceptional customer service to shoppers by greeting them with a friendly demeanor and actively listening to their needs and concerns.
  2. Stay up-to-date on the latest beauty trends and products in order to provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers.
  3. Assist customers in finding the right beauty products for their individual needs and skin types.
  4. Demonstrate and educate customers on the proper use and application of beauty products.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized beauty department, including restocking shelves and keeping displays visually appealing.
  6. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
  7. Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide a positive shopping experience for customers.
  8. Attend trainings and workshops to continuously improve product knowledge and customer service skills.
  9. Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and enjoyable work environment.
  10. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing personalized service and building brand loyalty.
  11. Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  12. Use suggestive selling techniques to upsell and cross-sell beauty products.
  13. Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals.
  14. Assist in creating visual displays and merchandising in the beauty department.
  15. Continuously seek feedback from customers and management to improve performance and customer satisfaction.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge Of Beauty Products And Techniques: A Part-Time Beauty Advisor At Kohl's Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Beauty Products, Brands, And Application Techniques. This Includes Knowledge Of Skincare, Makeup, Hair Care, And Fragrance Products.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: As A Beauty Advisor, One Of The Main Responsibilities Is To Provide Exceptional Customer Service To Kohl's Customers. This Requires Strong Communication Skills, A Friendly And Approachable Demeanor, And The Ability To Address And Resolve Customer Concerns.

  • Sales And Product Knowledge: Part-Time Beauty Advisors At Kohl's Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Driving Sales Through Their Knowledge Of Beauty Products And Ability To Make Recommendations To Customers Based On Their Needs And Preferences.

  • Flexibility And Availability: Kohl's Beauty Advisors May Be Required To Work A Flexible Schedule, Including Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays. Candidates Should Be Able To Work A Variety Of Shifts And Be Available To Work During Peak Shopping Hours.

  • Previous Retail Or Beauty Experience: While Not Always Required, Previous Retail Or Beauty Experience Is Highly Desirable For A Part-Time Beauty Advisor At Kohl's. This Experience Can Include Working At A Beauty Counter, Cosmetics Store, Or Other Retail Environment, And Can Demonstrate An Understanding Of Customer Service And Sales In A Similar Setting.
