  1. Greet and welcome customers to the beauty department at Kohl's.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their beauty needs and inquiries.
  3. Utilize knowledge and expertise in beauty products to make personalized recommendations to customers.
  4. Keep up to date with current beauty trends and new product releases to provide the most relevant and accurate information to customers.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized beauty department, including restocking products and ensuring displays are visually appealing.
  6. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
  7. Promote and upsell products to meet sales goals and targets.
  8. Build and maintain relationships with customers to create a loyal customer base.
  9. Continuously strive to improve personal knowledge and skills in the beauty industry through training and self-education.
  10. Collaborate with team members and management to achieve department and store goals.
  11. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including maintaining confidentiality of customer information.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing Kohl's and its values.
  13. Handle customer complaints and issues with empathy and problem-solving skills.
  14. Participate in promotional events and activities to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
  15. Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment for all team members.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience In The Beauty Industry: Candidates Should Have Previous Experience Working In The Beauty Industry, Whether It Be In Retail, Salons, Or As A Makeup Artist. This Will Ensure They Have A Strong Understanding Of Beauty Products And Can Provide Knowledgeable Recommendations To Customers.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: As A Beauty Advisor, Candidates Will Be Interacting With Customers On A Daily Basis. Therefore, Excellent Customer Service Skills Are Essential. Candidates Should Have The Ability To Build Rapport With Customers, Listen To Their Needs, And Provide A Positive Shopping Experience.

  • Knowledge Of Beauty Products: An Understanding Of Different Beauty Products, Such As Makeup, Skincare, And Fragrances, Is Crucial For This Role. Candidates Should Be Able To Identify Different Skin Types, Make Appropriate Product Recommendations, And Be Familiar With The Latest Beauty Trends.

  • Sales Experience: Part-Time Beauty Advisors At Kohl's Are Responsible For Driving Sales And Meeting Sales Goals. Therefore, Candidates Should Have Previous Sales Experience And Be Comfortable With Upselling And Cross-Selling Products.

  • Availability To Work Flexible Hours: As A Part-Time Role, Candidates Should Have The Availability To Work A Flexible Schedule, Including Evenings And Weekends. This Is Important As The Beauty Department At Kohl's Tends To Be Busiest During These Times.
