Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for keeping people and products safe? Do you have experience in loss prevention and a strong ability to lead and train a team? In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the safety and security of our store, as well as the supervision and development of our loss prevention team.   • Oversee the safety and security of the store, including the prevention of theft, fraud, and other security threats.
  • Train and develop a team of loss prevention associates, providing guidance and support to ensure their success in their roles.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential security risks and implement measures to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with store management and other departments to create and implement effective loss prevention strategies and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze store data to identify patterns and trends in theft and fraud, and utilize this information to improve security measures.
  • Cultivate a culture of safety and security within the store, educating and promoting awareness among all team members.
  • Handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions in emergency and crisis situations.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all security incidents and investigations.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new security technology, and best practices to continuously improve loss prevention efforts.
  • Represent the company in a professional and positive manner, maintaining strong relationships with coworkers, customers, and law enforcement agencies.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Retail Loss Prevention: A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Retail Loss Prevention Role, With Proven Success In Reducing Shrink And Implementing Loss Prevention Strategies.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: Ability To Effectively Manage And Lead A Team Of Loss Prevention Associates, Including Hiring, Training, And Performance Management.

  • Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Techniques: In-Depth Understanding Of Loss Prevention Techniques, Including Cctv Surveillance, Auditing, And Investigation Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With All Levels Of The Organization, As Well As External Partners And Law Enforcement Agencies.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: Ability To Analyze Data And Identify Trends, As Well As Develop And Implement Solutions To Prevent Loss And Mitigate Risk. Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills Are Essential For This Role.
