  1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Loss Prevention department.
  2. Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to prevent theft, fraud, and other safety hazards.
  3. Conduct regular audits and investigations to identify any potential risks or security breaches.
  4. Train and mentor team members on loss prevention techniques and best practices.
  5. Monitor and analyze surveillance footage to detect and deter criminal activity.
  6. Collaborate with store management and other departments to address any security concerns or incidents.
  7. Keep track of inventory and ensure all merchandise is properly accounted for.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in loss prevention technology.
  9. Create and maintain accurate reports and documentation related to loss prevention activities.
  10. Communicate effectively with employees, customers, and law enforcement as needed.
  11. Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring and onboarding process for new Loss Prevention team members.
  12. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment for the Loss Prevention team.
  13. Act as a role model for ethical behavior and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  14. Handle any escalated customer issues or complaints related to loss prevention.
  15. Continually assess and improve upon loss prevention strategies to minimize risk and maximize efficiency.
