- Develop and implement loss prevention strategies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of the store and its customers.
- Train and supervise a team of loss prevention officers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure effective performance.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential security risks and address any issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and other security systems to detect and prevent theft, fraud, and other illegal activities.
- Collaborate with store management to develop and maintain a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and employees.
- Investigate incidents of theft, fraud, and other security breaches, and report findings to appropriate parties.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all security-related incidents and investigations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in loss prevention to continuously improve the company's security measures.
- Conduct regular training sessions for employees on loss prevention and security procedures to ensure their understanding and compliance.
- Build strong relationships with law enforcement agencies and other external partners to enhance the company's security efforts.
- Proactively identify potential risks and vulnerabilities and take necessary steps to mitigate them.
- Monitor and analyze data and trends related to loss prevention and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on company policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols.
- Communicate effectively with store management and employees to address any security concerns and provide guidance on loss prevention measures.
- Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to loss prevention and security.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Loss Prevention Or Related Field, Preferably In A Retail Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Techniques, Including Cctv Monitoring, Internal Investigations, And Inventory Control.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Manage A Team.
Proficient In Microsoft Office And Other Computer Programs, With The Ability To Analyze Data And Create Reports.
Prior Experience In Supervising A Team And Managing Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
