- Monitor and maintain a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and employees.
- Identify and report any suspicious or fraudulent activities within the store.
- Conduct regular security checks and audits to ensure store compliance with safety protocols.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to loss prevention.
- Work closely with store management and team members to prevent theft and reduce shrink.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with any security-related concerns or issues.
- Utilize surveillance equipment and technology to monitor store activity and identify potential risks.
- Conduct thorough investigations of any security incidents and report findings to appropriate parties.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and legal teams on any necessary legal actions.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in loss prevention to continuously improve store security measures.
- Train and educate store team members on loss prevention techniques and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to security incidents and investigations.
- Develop and implement strategies to prevent and deter theft and fraud.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as legal regulations, pertaining to loss prevention.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of the job.
Experience In Loss Prevention: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Loss Prevention, Preferably In A Retail Environment. They Should Be Familiar With Various Loss Prevention Strategies And Techniques.
Knowledge Of Security Systems: The Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Security Systems, Including Cctv, Alarm Systems, And Access Control. They Should Also Have Experience In Monitoring And Analyzing Data From These Systems.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Loss Prevention Service Specialist, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Various Stakeholders, Including Store Managers, Law Enforcement, And Customers. Therefore, Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are Essential.
Attention To Detail: A Successful Candidate Should Have A High Level Of Attention To Detail And Be Able To Identify Suspicious Behavior Or Potential Risks. They Should Also Be Able To Document And Report Incidents Accurately.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: The Candidate Should Be Able To Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Retail Environment. They Should Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously And Prioritize Tasks Effectively To Meet Deadlines. They Should Also Be Able To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team.
