  1. Conduct thorough investigations of potential theft, fraud, and security risks within Kohl's stores.
  2. Utilize surveillance equipment and technology to monitor and identify suspicious activity.
  3. Collaborate with store management and other loss prevention team members to develop and implement strategies for preventing and deterring theft and fraud.
  4. Identify and report any security vulnerabilities or deficiencies within store operations.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all investigations and incidents.
  6. Regularly conduct audits and inspections of store procedures and policies to ensure compliance with company standards.
  7. Monitor and analyze data and trends to identify potential areas of risk and develop proactive solutions.
  8. Communicate effectively with law enforcement and legal authorities as needed.
  9. Provide training and guidance to store associates on loss prevention best practices.
  10. Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor when interacting with all individuals, including potential suspects.
  11. Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and techniques related to loss prevention.
  12. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications

  • Previous Experience In Loss Prevention: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Strong Background In Loss Prevention, Preferably With Experience In A Retail Setting. This Could Include Previous Work As A Store Detective, Security Officer, Or Loss Prevention Specialist.

  • Knowledge Of Security Systems And Procedures: A Successful Loss Prevention Operations Center Investigator Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Security Systems And Procedures, Including Cctv Surveillance, Alarm Systems, And Emergency Protocols.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Analyze Data And Identify Potential Security Threats Or Issues. Candidates Should Possess Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills To Effectively Investigate Incidents And Recommend Solutions.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial In A Loss Prevention Operations Center Investigator Role, As These Professionals Must Collaborate With Various Teams And Stakeholders, Including Store Managers, Law Enforcement, And Corporate Security.
