  1. Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize the company's tax liabilities and maximize profits.
  2. Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations at the local, state, and federal levels.
  3. Oversee the preparation and filing of all tax returns, including income, sales, and property taxes.
  4. Conduct regular reviews of the company's financial documents to identify potential tax risks and opportunities.
  5. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and advise the company on potential impact and necessary adjustments.
  6. Manage relationships with external tax advisors and consultants to ensure timely and accurate tax filings.
  7. Provide guidance and support to other departments on tax-related matters, such as sales and payroll taxes.
  8. Develop and maintain internal controls and procedures to ensure accurate recording of tax transactions.
  9. Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support on complex tax issues.
  10. Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and legal, to ensure tax compliance in business transactions and contracts.
  11. Analyze financial data and prepare reports on tax-related expenses, deductions, and credits.
  12. Participate in financial planning and forecasting to identify potential tax implications and opportunities.
  13. Drive process improvements and efficiencies to enhance the company's tax planning and compliance functions.
  14. Represent the company in tax audits and inquiries, working closely with external auditors and tax authorities.
  15. Continuously monitor and evaluate the company's tax strategies and make recommendations for improvements.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Tax Laws And Regulations.

  • Certified Public Accountant (Cpa) Certification.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Tax Accounting And Compliance.

  • Experience Managing A Team And Overseeing Tax Planning And Strategy For A Large Corporation.
