Welcome to Koch Industries! We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced ITAR and Export Controls Lead to join our dynamic team.   1. Serve as the primary point of contact for all ITAR and export control-related matters within the organization.
  2. Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive ITAR and export control compliance program in line with company policies and procedures.
  3. Monitor and stay updated on changes to ITAR, EAR, and other relevant regulations and ensure the company's compliance.
  4. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential compliance gaps and develop corrective action plans.
  5. Train and educate employees on ITAR and export control regulations and their impact on the company's operations.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure ITAR and export control compliance is integrated into all business processes.
  7. Review and approve all export license applications and ensure timely submission to relevant government agencies.
  8. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all export activities and compliance efforts.
  9. Serve as a liaison with government agencies and external auditors during compliance reviews and audits.
  10. Communicate any changes in regulations or compliance requirements to relevant stakeholders and provide guidance on how to adapt to these changes.
  11. Proactively identify potential risks and compliance issues and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  12. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other departments on ITAR and export control-related matters.
  13. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as freight forwarders and customs brokers, to ensure compliance with all international trade regulations.
  14. Continuously improve and streamline compliance processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  15. Represent the company in industry forums and events related to ITAR and export controls to stay updated on best practices and industry trends.
