
Business and Finance Officer
The Wastewater Treatment Division (WTD) of King County Department of Natural Resources and Parks is looking for a high performing individual to be part of the Rates, Capital & Debt Team in the Finance Section. Facilitate and participate in consultant review of the model and support related revisions to respond to the King County Council Auditor's recommendations. Conduct research into financial policy and sewer connection fee best-practices and industry standards, prepare benchmarking analyses, and document findings. Analyze complex data, policy, practices, systems, and procedures, document findings, recommendations, and prepare reports. Evaluate policy alternatives and prepare recommendations for consideration by any applicable advisory committee and decision-makers.
3+ years of related work experience
Knowledge of and experience in strategic planning techniques, principles and practices.
Skill in synthesizing information and making recommendations within and outside of established policies and procedures.
