Compliance Officer

We’re looking for a Compliance Officer at KeyBank who can create and maintain a culture of compliance with consumer financial protection laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for compliance. This position requires a high level of responsibility and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. 1. Create and implement policies and procedures for compliance with consumer financial protection laws and regulations.
2. Monitor and review compliance processes to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
3. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changing compliance legislation and regulations.
4. Prepare detailed compliance reports on a regular basis and present findings to key stakeholders.
5. Partner with internal teams to ensure compliance requirements are met.
6. Develop and implement training programs to ensure employees are familiar with compliance requirements.
7. Investigate and assess potential compliance issues and recommend corrective action.
8. Act as a liaison with regulatory bodies and other external stakeholders.
9. Respond to compliance inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
10. Provide support and assistance to other departments in developing and implementing compliance processes.
