1. Provide high-quality nursing care to individuals, families, and communities in a public health setting.

4. Collaborate with community organizations and agencies to facilitate access to healthcare services and resources.
5. Educate the public on health issues and promote healthy behaviors through workshops, presentations, and other outreach efforts.
6. Monitor and track disease outbreaks and implement appropriate measures to prevent the spread of disease.
7. Conduct home visits and provide direct nursing care to individuals with complex health needs.
8. Participate in disaster preparedness and response efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of the community.
9. Conduct research and analyze data to identify health trends and develop evidence-based interventions.
10. Serve as a liaison between healthcare providers and the community to improve health outcomes and reduce health disparities.
11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation of all patient interactions and interventions.
12. Keep abreast of current trends and best practices in public health nursing through ongoing education and professional development.
13. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the delivery of nursing care and the protection of patient confidentiality.
14. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement policies and procedures to improve public health outcomes.
15. Continuously assess and evaluate the effectiveness of public health programs and make recommendations for improvement.
