- Perform diagnostic X-Ray imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Prepare patients for X-Ray procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Position and adjust equipment to obtain optimal images for accurate diagnosis.
- Monitor and document patient's vital signs during X-Ray procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following infection control and safety protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on X-Ray equipment.
- Educate patients and their families about the X-Ray procedure and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
- Keep accurate records and documentation of all X-Ray procedures performed.
- Attend trainings and continuing education courses to stay updated on advancements in X-Ray technology and techniques.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Adhere to all Kaiser Permanente policies and procedures.
- Continuously strive to improve patient care and contribute to the overall success of the diagnostic imaging department.
Certification: A Valid Certification As A Radiologic Technologist (Rt) From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) Or Equivalent Is Required.
Education: A Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution Is Required.
Experience: At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience As A X-Ray Technologist In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting Is Preferred.
Knowledge Of Equipment And Procedures: Candidates Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of X-Ray Equipment And Procedures, As Well As The Ability To Operate And Troubleshoot It Effectively.
Communication And Teamwork Skills: Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills Are Essential For This Role, As X-Ray Technologists Often Work Closely With Other Healthcare Professionals To Provide Accurate Diagnoses And Treatment Plans.
