- Develop and implement compliance strategies and initiatives to ensure ethical and regulatory standards are met within the organization.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to establish and maintain a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
- Lead and support compliance programs, policies, and procedures across all areas of the organization.
- Monitor and assess compliance risks within the organization and develop mitigation plans.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance standards are met.
- Communicate and educate employees at all levels of the organization on compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct internal audits to identify potential compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Oversee the investigation of compliance issues and ensure appropriate resolutions are implemented.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on ethical decision-making and reporting of compliance concerns.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulators during compliance reviews and audits.
- Develop and manage compliance training programs for employees at all levels of the organization.
- Prepare and present compliance reports to executive leadership and the board of directors.
- Handle any compliance-related inquiries or concerns from employees, management, or external stakeholders.
- Lead and manage a team of compliance professionals, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day responsibilities.
Experience In Compliance: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In A Compliance Role, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry. They Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Regulatory Compliance Requirements And Best Practices.
Strong Leadership Skills: As The Vice President, Deputy Chief Compliance Officer, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Compliance Professionals. Therefore, They Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Laws And Regulations: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Healthcare Laws And Regulations Such As Hipaa, Medicare, And Medicaid. They Should Also Have Experience In Developing Compliance Policies And Procedures To Ensure Adherence To These Laws.
