  • Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks across all aspects of the organization.
  • Collaborate with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, to promote a culture of risk awareness and mitigation.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and analysis to identify emerging risks and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the risk management team, including training and development opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in regulations to proactively address potential risks.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management strategies and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Communicate risk management strategies and updates to key stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure risk management protocols are integrated into daily operations.
  • Collaborate with insurance providers and legal counsel to manage claims and ensure coverage for potential risks.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with risk management standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Risk Management: A Qualified Candidate For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Risk Management, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Risk Assessment, Mitigation Strategies And Crisis Management.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: The Vice President And Chief Risk Officer Will Be Responsible For Overseeing A Team Of Risk Management Professionals And Working Closely With Other Senior Leaders Within The Organization. They Should Have Strong Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Motivate And Guide Their Team Towards Achieving The Company's Risk Management Goals.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance: Kaiser Permanente Operates In A Highly Regulated Industry, And The Vice President And Chief Risk Officer Will Be Responsible For Ensuring That The Organization Is In Compliance With All Relevant Laws And Regulations. A Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance Requirements Is Essential For This Role.

  • Strategic Thinking And Decision-Making Abilities: The Vice President And Chief Risk Officer Will Play A Critical Role In Identifying Potential Risks And Developing Strategies To Mitigate Them. They Should Have Strong Analytical Skills And The Ability To Think Strategically To Anticipate And Proactively Address Potential Risks.
