Job Description

At Kaiser Permanente, we are currently looking for an experienced and highly motivated Vascular Sonographer to join our team. This position requires a compassionate individual with exceptional technical and communication skills who is committed to providing the highest level of patient care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience working as a Vascular Sonographer, and must be certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Additionally, knowledge of the principles and practices of vascular sonography and ultrasound instrumentation is required. A positive attitude, the ability to work effectively as part of a team, and excellent problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities: • Perform high-quality vascular sonography procedures in accordance with Kaiser Permanente standards • Utilize ultrasound equipment to identify and diagnose vascular diseases • Educate patients about the procedure and answer any questions • Provide detailed reports of findings to physicians • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient care • Maintain and operate equipment in accordance with safety regulations • Maintain patient and departmental records • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities • Perform quality assurance and quality control checks on equipment
