In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our healthcare unit, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.   1. Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Provide administrative support to the healthcare unit, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records.
  3. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked and readily available.
  4. Communicate effectively with healthcare staff, patients, and their families to ensure a smooth and positive experience.
  5. Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
  6. Monitor and maintain patient charts, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  7. Manage and update electronic medical records to ensure patient information is current and accessible.
  8. Coordinate and schedule appointments, procedures, and tests for patients.
  9. Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure timely and efficient patient care.
  10. Adhere to all privacy and confidentiality policies when handling sensitive patient information.
  11. Assist with ordering and maintaining inventory of office supplies.
  12. Work collaboratively with other unit secretaries to ensure coverage and support for the entire healthcare unit.
  13. Attend and participate in staff meetings and trainings as required.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably As A Unit Secretary Or Medical Office Assistant

  • Proficiency In Computer Skills, Including Knowledge Of Electronic Health Record Systems

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Effectively With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members

  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Basic Understanding Of Medical Procedures And Diagnoses
