Job Description

  1. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  2. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals.
  3. Utilize a variety of rehabilitation techniques, such as exercise, massage, and specialized equipment, to help patients regain mobility and function.
  4. Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  5. Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for at-home exercises and activities to enhance recovery.
  6. Document all patient interactions, progress, and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  8. Stay up-to-date with advancements and developments in the field of physical therapy.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including equipment maintenance and disinfection.
  10. Demonstrate empathy and compassion towards patients and their families, providing emotional support and reassurance throughout the treatment process.
  11. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of work, including patient privacy and confidentiality.
  12. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving patient care and clinic operations.
  13. Continuously strive to provide high-quality care and improve patient outcomes.
  14. Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  15. Maintain a professional demeanor and represent Kaiser Permanente positively in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Physical Therapy From An Accredited Program.

  • Licensure As A Physical Therapist In The State Of Employment.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Patients And Healthcare Team Members.

  • Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Practices And Techniques For Evaluating And Treating A Variety Of Physical Conditions.
