  1. Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in an inpatient setting.
  2. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  3. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to determine appropriate treatment interventions.
  4. Utilize evidence-based techniques and tools to help patients reach their full potential and improve their quality of life.
  5. Monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  6. Educate patients and their families on strategies for maximizing independence and functioning.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  8. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
  9. Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment for patients and staff.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and development in the field of occupational therapy.
  11. Stay current on industry trends and best practices related to inpatient occupational therapy.
  12. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and a patient-centered approach in all interactions with patients.
  13. Flexibility to work on an on-call basis, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  14. Maintain a valid Occupational Therapist license and comply with all continuing education requirements.
  15. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting the mission and values of Kaiser Permanente.

Job Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree In Occupational Therapy From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current And Valid State Licensure As An Occupational Therapist.

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience As An Occupational Therapist In An Inpatient Setting.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Various Diagnoses And Treatment Approaches For Mental Health And Substance Use Disorders.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Quality Care To Patients.
