Technologist, Cardiac Stress Laboratory

We are looking for a motivated and passionate Technologist to join our Cardiac Stress Laboratory team at Kaiser Permanente. This position requires high attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to providing excellent patient care. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of medical, clinical, and technical skills, as well as a genuine enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Minimum qualifications include an Associate Degree in a related field, two years of related experience, and current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Additionally, the successful candidate must have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide exceptional patient care and ensure patient safety at all times.
2. Execute cardiac stress laboratory tests, as ordered by physicians and other clinicians.
3. Monitor patient’s vital signs and reactions to tests.
4. Maintain cardiac stress laboratory equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
5. Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy in all documentation.
6. Maintain and update knowledge and understanding of new technology, techniques, and procedures in the cardiac stress lab.
7. Work collaboratively with other medical professionals in the laboratory.
8. Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
9. Ensure safe and effective operation of the cardiac stress laboratory.
10. Provide in-service training and orientation to new staff members as necessary.
