Technician, Pharmacy

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Technician, Pharmacy to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and performing accurate and timely dispensing of medications. The successful candidate should be committed to providing superior patient care, have excellent communication skills, and the ability to multi-task.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent, valid California Pharmacy Technician license, and one year of experience as a pharmacy technician. Responsibilities:

1. Provide excellent customer service to patients and other healthcare professionals.
2. Accurately and timely dispense medications and other pharmaceutical products.
3. Demonstrate knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and medical abbreviations.
4. Maintain patient records and update medication profiles as needed.
5. Assist pharmacists with compounding and labeling medications.
6. Maintain the inventory of medications and other pharmaceutical products.
7. Monitor expiration dates and discard outdated medications.
8. Ensure compliance with quality control standards and procedures.
9. Perform data entry and other administrative tasks as needed.
10. Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.
