At Kaiser Permanente, our Optical Laboratory Technicians play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered vision care to our members. We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our team and help us continue to deliver excellent service.The ideal candidate for this role will have an eye for detail and a passion for providing quality customer service. The successful candidate should be organized and have a strong understanding of optical laboratory processes. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about helping our members to find the right frames and lenses to meet their individual needs.To qualify for this position, you must have a minimum of one year of experience in an optical laboratory setting. The ideal candidate will also have a certification in opticianry and/or a relevant degree in optical technology. Knowledge of current fashion trends and experience with frame selection and ordering is also highly desirable. Responsibilities:

  1. Process, verify, and fill orders for optical frames and lenses, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
  2. Maintain accurate records of orders, products, and customers.
  3. Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses that meet their individual needs.
  4. Ensure all orders are delivered on-time and in accordance with customer specifications.
  5. Provide outstanding customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  6. Ensure all laboratory processes and procedures are followed.
  7. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during optical laboratory processes.
  8. Maintain a working knowledge of current fashion trends in optical frames and lenses.
  9. Adhere to all safety and health regulations in the workplace.
  10. Assist with the maintenance of laboratory equipment and supplies.
