
Technician, Optical Laboratory
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Optical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. The successful candidate will have a passion for providing quality products and services in a timely manner to our patients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assembling and edging lenses, cutting and fitting frames, and providing customer service. The ideal candidate will have the qualifications and experience necessary to produce the highest quality results.The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication and organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. They must have the ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment. Previous optical laboratory experience is preferred, along with knowledge of edging and fitting of lenses, cutting and fitting frames, and customer service. Responsibilities:
- Assemble and edge lenses according to prescription and specifications.
- Cut and fit frames to customer specifications.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
- Ensure accuracy when completing paperwork.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols.
- Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of optical laboratory equipment.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of optical laboratory practices and procedures.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and management.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
