We are currently seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our Inpatient team in the Main Operating Room. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting our surgeons and ensuring that all procedures run smoothly. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our surgical team and ultimately, the well-being of our patients.   1. Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies.
  2. Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly before and during procedures.
  3. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and assist with tasks as needed.
  4. Maintain a sterile and safe environment in the operating room at all times.
  5. Follow proper infection control protocols and ensure all equipment is properly sterilized.
  6. Communicate effectively with the surgical team to provide necessary supplies and equipment during procedures.
  7. Monitor and record patient vital signs and assist with patient positioning.
  8. Assist with patient transport to and from the operating room.
  9. Maintain accurate records of procedures, supplies, and equipment used during surgeries.
  10. Continuously monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the surgical team.
  11. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including safety and compliance regulations.
  12. Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.
  13. Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families during surgical procedures.
  14. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
  15. Stay updated on the latest surgical techniques and procedures to continually improve skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Surgical Technician Program And Certification As A Certified Surgical Technologist (Cst).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Surgical Technician In An Inpatient Or Main Operating Room Setting.

  • Knowledge Of A Wide Range Of Surgical Procedures, Instruments, And Equipment.

  • Ability To Anticipate And Fulfill The Needs Of The Surgical Team During Procedures.

  • Proficiency In Sterilization Techniques And Maintaining A Sterile Environment During Surgery.
