  1. Lead and supervise a team of respiratory therapists, ensuring they are providing high-quality care to patients.
  2. Mentor and train respiratory therapists to develop their skills and knowledge in the field.
  3. Oversee the daily operations of the respiratory care department, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow management.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create and implement treatment plans for patients.
  5. Monitor and assess the quality of care provided by the respiratory therapy team, and make recommendations for improvement as needed.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to respiratory care.

  10. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  11. Collaborate with the respiratory therapy team to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  12. Monitor and manage department budget, including purchasing and inventory management.
  13. Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for new respiratory therapy staff.
  14. Act as a role model for team members by demonstrating professionalism, compassion, and a commitment to patient care.
  15. Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff, following infection control and safety protocols.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Respiratory Care Or Related Field.

  • Current And Valid State License To Practice As A Respiratory Care Practitioner.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Supervisory Role.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Ability To Effectively Manage And Mentor A Team Of Respiratory Therapists.

  • Knowledge Of Best Practices And Industry Standards In Respiratory Care, As Well As Experience With Electronic Medical Records Systems.
