- Inspect, assemble, and package medical equipment and supplies according to departmental standards.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of sterile supplies and equipment.

Certification In Sterile Processing: Applicants Should Possess A Nationally Recognized Certification In Sterile Processing, Such As The Certified Registered Central Service Technician (Crcst) Or The Certified Sterile Processing And Distribution Technician (Cspdt).
Knowledge Of Sterilization Techniques: A Strong Understanding Of Sterilization Techniques And Processes Is Crucial For A Sterile Processing Technician At Kaiser Permanente. This Includes Knowledge Of Various Types Of Sterilization Methods, Such As Steam, Ethylene Oxide, And Hydrogen Peroxide.
Attention To Detail: The Ability To Pay Close Attention To Detail Is Essential In This Role, As Sterile Processing Technicians Are Responsible For Ensuring That All Equipment And Instruments Are Properly Cleaned, Sterilized, And Assembled According To Established Protocols.
