  1. Provide exceptional care to patients and their families during the labor and delivery process.
  2. Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs and fetal heart rate, and respond to any changes or complications.
  3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  4. Educate patients and their families about the labor and delivery process, postpartum care, and newborn care.
  5. Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare team members to create and implement individualized care plans.
  6. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  7. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols and procedures.
  8. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and contribute to problem-solving and decision-making.
  9. Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights and preferences are respected and communicated to the healthcare team.
  10. Continuously update knowledge and skills through ongoing education and professional development opportunities.

  12. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Labor And Delivery Nursing.

  • Current And Active Rn License In The State Of Employment.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Or Equivalent From An Accredited Nursing Program.

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) And Neonatal Resuscitation Program (Nrp) Certifications.

  • Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Well In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
