  1. Provide compassionate and quality care to expectant mothers and their newborns in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Utilize clinical skills and knowledge to assess and monitor patients throughout the labor and delivery process.
  3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  4. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  5. Educate patients and their families about the labor and delivery process, postpartum care, and newborn care.
  6. Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and progress of patients.
  7. Serve as a resource for patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns.
  8. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  9. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
  10. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated on best practices and advancements in labor and delivery care.
  11. Effectively communicate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients.
  12. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during the labor and delivery process.
  13. Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently, following established protocols.
  14. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  15. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certification

  • Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree

  • Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of California

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Labor And Delivery Unit

  • Experience With Electronic Medical Records Systems, Such As Epic Or Cerner.
