Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Higher: A Staff Nurse In Labor And Delivery At Kaiser Permanente Should Hold A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.
Active Rn License: The Candidate Must Possess An Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Where The Job Is Located And Maintain The License Throughout Their Employment.
Specialized Training In Labor And Delivery: Candidates Should Have Specialized Training In Labor And Delivery, Such As Completion Of A Labor And Delivery Nurse Residency Program Or A Minimum Of One Year Of Experience Working In A Labor And Delivery Unit.
Bls And Acls Certifications: Candidates Must Hold Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications From The American Heart Association.
Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills: Staff Nurses In Labor And Delivery At Kaiser Permanente Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With The Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Patient Education. They Should Also Possess Strong Critical Thinking Skills To Make Quick And Appropriate Decisions In High-Stress Situations.
