- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop individualized care plans for patients.
- Monitor and assess patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and their families about disease management and end-of-life care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Advocate for patients' needs and preferences.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in palliative care.
- Continuously assess and improve the quality of care provided to patients.
- Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex patient situations.
- Serve as a resource and mentor for other nursing staff.
Current Bls Certification
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field
Active And Unrestricted Rn License In The State Of Practice
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Nursing Experience, Preferably In Palliative Care Or Hospice
