  1. Provide exceptional and compassionate care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
  2. Perform nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions.
  3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  4. Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, lab results, and other diagnostic tests to assess patient progress and identify potential complications.
  5. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive and coordinated care to patients.
  6. Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  8. Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care to stabilize patients.
  9. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  10. Continuously update knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training opportunities.
  11. Serve as a resource and mentor to less experienced nurses and other healthcare team members.
  12. Adhere to Kaiser Permanente's policies, procedures, and standards of care.
  13. Demonstrate a commitment to providing culturally sensitive and inclusive care to a diverse patient population.
  14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and promote best practices in the CVICU.
  15. Uphold the organization's values of integrity, compassion, accountability, and excellence in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Bls, Acls, And Pals Certifications.

  • Current And Active Rn License In The State Of Employment.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Registered Nurse In A Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (Cvicu).

  • Strong Critical Thinking And Decision-Making Skills, As Well As Excellent Communication And Teamwork Abilities.
